Alexa Kovalick

A seattle area native, Ms. Kovalick was a student at Ballet Bellevue School from 2003 to 2007, where she studied under Viktroria Titova, Former dancer with the Bolsho Ballet Grigorovich Company.  Ms. Kovalick was a winner of a Scholarship Award to Moscow to study under Alexader Bandarenko at the Moscow Bolshoi Academy and also Nabilia Valitova of the Voronezh Ballet Academy.  In summer courses she studied at Summer Dance Lab in Walla Walla nad Ballet Austin.  This is Ms. Kovalick's first season as a company member with Ballet Bellevue with new artistic director, Jennifer Porter.  Ms. Kovalick has danced leading roles in Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty (Lilac Fairy, Little Red, The Gold Fairy).  She has been featured in Coppelia, The Nutcracker and performed roles from Paquita and Raymonda, and has also performed as a guest artist.
